Last March, a gay college student’s car was vandalized with homophobic slurs and death threats. The owner of a local auto body shop completely repainted and fixed up the student’s car, both inside and out, and didn’t charge him a cent of the estimated $10,000 repair cost.
This week, they both appeared on the premiere episode of Ellen’s tenth season on TV, and she gave each of them $25,000. I love all these people. More.
So I’ve never had anything get a lot of reblogs, but I really hope this does so that we can get this invented. I’m so tired of VHS, DVD, Blu Ray, they can all break or get ruined easily and they can be so bulky. If they could invent something like an ipod, maybe even a bit bigger, that you could store your movies on and just plug that into a tv, it would be a whole lot easier to bring movies around with you to watch everywhere! They could sell all of the movies on itunes, or make some other i (or any other company who wants to take it on) whatever. So PLEASE REBLOG! Let’s get their attention to get this invented!
